These days more and more consulting firms are putting their money where their mouth is when it comes to creating a more diverse and inclusive work environment. In many cases this entails retaining experts schooled in ensuring equal opportunities for new hires and internal promotions, and fostering better workplace communications with an eye towards inclusion.
Capco this week announced the hiring of Dee McDougal to head up US Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as part of the London-based firm's efforts to "effect a tangible step-change around diversity, equity, and inclusion."
"[Dee McDougal] will partner with our HR team, as well as leaders from our business and our affinity groups, to drive an integrated DE&I agenda and help us move the needle on awareness, education, diversity recruitment, mentoring, career progression, and best practices across the US," says Michael Pugliese, managing partner of Capco US.
