Consulting is a global business, and no conversation about the profession would be complete without talking about some of the most meaningful work being done by consultants in all corners of the globe. That's why we launched the Global Leaders in Consulting award back in 2017. Our first year we had 20 recipients, which we expanded to 25 in 2018 and 2019. This year's slate of honorees is our biggest yet, with 27 Global Leaders in Consulting recognized for 2021.
Our honorees hail from eight countries around the world, spanning four continents, but the impact of their work is felt far beyond their geographic borders, both within the profession itself and by the clients they engage with. To recognize their efforts and achievements, we've grouped this year's honorees into four distinct categories: Excellence in Engagement, Excellence in Innovation, Excellence in Execution, and Excellence in Influence.
