McKinsey has announced an expanded partnership with Girls in Tech to support their efforts around improving diversity, equality, and inclusion in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education.
As part of the partnership, McKinsey will provide support for all of the global nonprofit's 2021 flagship programs, including the annual Girls in Tech Conference, which saw record attendance in 2020 as a virtual event during the height of the pandemic crisis.
"McKinsey has been among our most involved and committed corporate partners, and we are grateful for the opportunity to team with them in the new year to further elevate our shared goals for equality, diversity, and inclusion in STEM fields," says Adriana Gascoigne, Founder and CEO, Girls in Tech. "This is a landmark partnership for Girls in Tech that accelerates our ability to reach women with our highly-recognized programming."
