Primary Responsibilities:

Engagement Delivery/Management

  • Lead complex consulting engagements in mixed client/consultant teams of varying sizes and scopes

  • Operate as a DayBlink senior client interface in the delivery of consulting projects, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor on strategic matters impacting clients

  • Establish and maintain your personal “brand identity” in a particular industry, skill set or knowledge base

  • Establish collaborative working relationships with client personnel based on client culture and personal client styles

  • Ensure engagement objectives are clearly defined and aligned to client expectations, and ensure that work activities, deliverables and client contributions are aligned to these objectives

  • Prepare and present clear, compelling, high quality presentations, reports, and other documents as required by the engagement

Business and Practice Development

  • Support the request and approval of extensions to existing Statements of Work through the delivery of exceptional client value on current engagements

  • Support and conduct network activities within existing client accounts to identify new opportunities to expand client relationships

  • Lead business development activity with prospects with whom you have personal relationships, seeking support and assistance where needed

  • Lead and/or assist in preparation of responses to RFPs

  • Expand skill set and knowledge base in area(s) of concentration that are of interest to you, and where opportunities exist to grow revenue and expand or solidify client relationships

  • Synthesize lessons from past engagements, emerging technology, processes, or strategies, or industry knowledge to contribute to the firm’s thought leadership

People Development

  • Provide day to day management of consultants on current engagements, ensuring they are well positioned to meet and exceed client expectations, while performing roles and tasks that leverage their skills and interests, while affording opportunities for personal growth

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants as it relates to critical success factors in management consulting

  • Identify new skills and experience required by the firm, and support the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews and identifying quality candidates to join the firm

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree required; Master’s Degree strongly preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years management consulting experience in well established consulting firm(s) or equivalent industry position

  • Must have successfully managed at least five different management consulting engagement with at least 3 full time consultant resources and billed engagement revenue of at least $500K per account/project

  • Demonstrated competency in one or more industry verticals and/or functional or technical areas (e.g., complex program management, IT transformation, new product or service development, supply chain optimization)
