Multidisciplinary professional services firm Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP has announced the arrival of Claudia Douglass as a managing director within the firm's health care group. Douglass joins the firm with more than 30 years of experience navigating complex strategy, technology, and cultural transformations across the health care sector.
In her new role, Douglass will advise provider organizations and health plans on redesigning care delivery and scaling digital and virtual health capabilities. Her focus will include driving improvements in quality, experience, and cost through AI-enabled care models and large-scale clinical and operational transformations, including operating model redesign and M&A strategy.
"Claudia is a dynamic addition to our growing team, strengthening our ability to support clients across the full continuum of care as they rethink care delivery," said Bill Bernstein, Partner and Leader of Manatt Health. "Her deep experience in strategy, care model innovation and operational transformation expands the breadth of solutions we can bring to health systems at a critical moment for the industry."
Prior to joining Manatt, Douglass served as Partner and Healthcare Growth Leader at a multinational professional services firm. Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership roles across top consulting firms and health systems, where she led growth initiatives and developed innovative offerings across strategy, operational, and digital transformation, including the integration of AI and automation into clinical workflows.
Douglass expressed excitement about joining the firm's integrated legal and consulting model. "Manatt is uniquely positioned to help organizations reimagine care delivery, and I look forward to working with my colleagues and our clients to accelerate innovation, improve outcomes and build more sustainable, consumer-centered systems," she said.
