Global CEO advisory firm Teneo has announced a significant expansion of its Global Political Risk Advisory business, appointing new leadership and adding a roster of high-profile senior advisors from the intelligence and military sectors. The move comes as the firm scales its capabilities to address heightened geopolitical volatility currently impacting corporate strategy and global markets.
As part of the expansion, Nitin Chadda has been named President of Global Political Risk Advisory. Chadda, who serves concurrently as cofounder and managing partner of WestExec Advisors (a Teneo company), will join the firm's global management team. In this newly created role, he is tasked with driving an integrated political risk offering to meet what the firm describes as unprecedented demand. Additionally, Kevin Kajiwara has been appointed Global Chair of Political Risk Advisory, where he will continue to lead client engagements and represent the firm's thought leadership globally.
The firm also welcomed four distinguished Senior Advisors to its ranks: Sir Richard Moore, former Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6); Stacey Dixon, former Acting U.S. Director of National Intelligence; General Frank McKenzie, former U.S. CENTCOM Commander; and General Jim Hecker, former Commander of the U.S. Air Forces in Europe. These additions bring Teneo's broader political risk and government affairs team to more than 200 professionals worldwide.
Paul Keary, CEO of Teneo, emphasized that geopolitical insight is now a fundamental component of board-level decision-making. "In this environment where business outcomes are increasingly determined by government actions and geopolitical shocks, actionable geopolitical and policy insight is central to CEO and Board decision making," Keary stated, noting that government relations is "in the DNA" of the firm's strategy.
Sir Richard Moore noted that global companies are facing record levels of uncertainty as they navigate shifting international dynamics. "Teneo is uniquely positioned in the market with a remarkable range of expertise as well as hands-on professionals worldwide to help guide clients in this environment," Moore said. Stacey Dixon echoed this sentiment, highlighting the firm's ability to counsel industry leaders on mitigating risk and engaging influential stakeholders during a time of commercial disruption.
The expansion leverages the deep expertise of WestExec Advisors, which operates alongside Teneo to provide national security and intelligence insights. Chadda noted that the firm's integrated capabilities are designed to help companies navigate a "disrupted world" and make business decisions that drive growth. "We are unmatched in our ability to help companies make sense of today's disrupted world," Chadda added.
