The firm has named new leaders for its M&A, Finance Transformation, and Tax and Treasury practices, signaling a deeper focus on integrated C-suite consulting.
Global professional services firm RGP has announced three senior leadership appointments this week, expanding its capabilities in key areas of its CFO advisory and consulting services. The firm has appointed Daniel Boyer as Head of M&A, promoted Jennifer Garcia to Finance Transformation Practice Leader, and elevated Elon Friedman to lead its Tax and Treasury Consulting Practice.
The moves collectively point to a strategy aimed at providing more comprehensive support for finance and technology executives as they navigate complex corporate transactions, technology modernizations and shifting regulatory environments.

Daniel Boyer joins RGP as Senior Vice President, Head of M&A, in a newly created position. He will be responsible for the firm's M&A services across the entire deal lifecycle, from due diligence to post-close integration and optimization. Before joining RGP, Boyer was a Managing Director in KPMG's Deal Advisory & Strategy practice and has held leadership roles at Alvarez & Marsal and Deloitte.
"The M&A landscape today is more challenging than ever, with compressed timelines, heightened regulatory scrutiny, and increasing pressure to unlock value quickly," said Boyer. He noted that success often depends on aligning finance and technology early in the process.

In a related move, RGP promoted Jennifer Garcia to Finance Transformation Practice Leader. Garcia's role will focus on helping clients modernize their finance operating models, with an emphasis on process optimization, ERP and EPM systems, and leveraging data for performance insights. Garcia joined RGP through its 2024 acquisition of Reference Point. Her background includes management consulting at EY, where she led post-merger finance modernization projects, and investment banking at J.P. Morgan.
"The role of finance has fundamentally changed," Garcia stated. "As CFOs take on broader responsibility across technology, data and enterprise strategy, finance must evolve from a reporting function to a performance engine."

Rounding out the appointments, Elon Friedman will now lead RGP's Tax and Treasury Consulting Practice. An RGP veteran who joined via the 2017 acquisition of Accretive Solutions, Friedman has over 20 years of experience in the field, including roles at PwC and EY. In his expanded role, he will oversee services related to tax compliance, treasury operations and capital strategy.
Scott Rottmann, President of Consulting Services at RGP, commented on the appointments, highlighting the increasing need for integrated expertise. "Today's deals demand more than transaction expertise. They require disciplined integration across finance and technology," he said in the announcement for Boyer. This sentiment was echoed in the other announcements, framing the leadership changes as a response to the evolving demands placed on modern CFOs.
