Founded by 25-year veteran David Carneal, the Orange County firm eschews large-scale transformation projects in favor of targeted adjustments to improve workflow and data integrity.

Led by founder David Carneal, who brings over two decades of experience in operations, DECG aims to help organizations identify and correct minor inefficiencies that can accumulate into significant drains on time and revenue. The firm's approach is to find and resolve friction points in daily workflows to reduce rework and speed up decision-making.
"Most companies don't need a reinvention, they need a few smart fixes in the right places," said Carneal. He cited a past experience where re-enabling and automating a single dormant process in a company's system generated nearly $500,000 in annual revenue. "That's what DECG does: find the hidden 'off switches' inside workflows and help teams turn them into reliable, repeatable wins."
DECG's advisory services are concentrated in three primary areas: customer experience (CX) and workflows, operations and process analysis for sectors like manufacturing and distribution, and data integrity and analytics. The firm states it is vendor-neutral, providing objective recommendations designed to improve existing systems.
Early clients have commented on the firm's targeted approach. "DECG brings uncommon clarity to messy operational realities," said Mark Cosgrove, Founder of Doctors Own Design. Richard Southwick of Occularium added that the focus on "small, high-leverage changes is exactly what most organizations need."
