Michael Martin has returned to Mercer as a partner in the firm's Atlanta office. He brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources leadership and consulting, with a focus on HR transformation, talent strategy and employee experience.
Martin's background includes roles as both a corporate executive and a consultant. This provides him with a perspective on aligning HR functions with broader business strategies. Before rejoining Mercer, he served as Chief People Officer at Ankura and was a Partner at Aon. This latest move marks a return to the firm, as Martin previously spent seven years at Mercer as a Senior Principal and HR Effectiveness Consultant.

The firm noted that his return is part of its effort to help clients navigate workforce challenges. Martin's work often focuses on the connection between company culture, employee experience and core HR priorities.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The George Washington University and a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from New York University.
