PYA has announced the promotion of Jessica Scouten to Consulting Principal, effective Jan. 1, 2026. The move elevates a specialist in forensic accounting and financial disputes, particularly within the health care sector.
Scouten brings more than two decades of experience in litigation, forensic, audit, and advisory services to her new role. Her work at PYA is focused on providing financial advisory, litigation, and forensic investigation services to the firm's health care clients. She is also a frequent speaker on topics related to distressed health care and forensic accounting.
"Jessica is a nationally respected professional in forensic accounting services," said PYA CEO Marty Brown. "Her demonstrated leadership and approach to client service exemplify PYA's values and serve our clients well."
Scouten is the current president of the Turnaround Management Association's Tennessee Chapter and is a member of the American Health Law Association and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Messiah University.
