Amy Wilkins, Chief Executive Officer, Kenway Consulting.

Former CEO Matt Kueker transitions to a new role as executive vice president of strategic growth as part of the firm's long-term succession plan.

Chicago-based management and technology consulting firm Kenway Consulting has appointed Amy Wilkins as its new Chief Executive Officer. The move is part of a planned leadership transition that sees former CEO Matt Kueker take on the newly created role of executive vice president of strategic growth.

Wilkins, a 15-year veteran of the firm, most recently served as Kenway's Chief Operating Officer, a position she held since 2023. In that role, she was responsible for the company's day-to-day operations, including strategic planning, human resources, and financial oversight. She joined the consultancy in 2011 as a management consultant.

Kueker, who had led the company as CEO since 2020, will remain a member of Kenway's leadership team and its Board of Managers. His new position will focus on the firm's next phase of expansion. "I'm proud of what we've built together, grateful for the opportunity to have led it, and excited to help Kenway through its next phase of growth," Kueker said in a statement. "Amy is a remarkable leader, and has the vision and capability to take this company to the next level."

The leadership change signals a focus on both operational continuity and strategic expansion for the firm, which was founded in 2004. By promoting a long-tenured internal leader to the CEO role, the company maintains consistency in its operational direction, while dedicating a senior executive specifically to growth initiatives.

"I'm honored to serve as Kenway's new CEO and thankful for this opportunity to help guide the company forward in its next chapter," said Wilkins. "I look forward to building on this momentum... as we continue to grow the company, expand our impact, and deliver exceptional value to our clients."

Before joining Kenway, Wilkins began her career at Hewitt Associates and later served as the director of client services at benefits administration software company bswift. She holds an MBA in entrepreneurship from DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
