Karthik Chandrasekar, Senior Managing Director, Ankura Consulting Group.

Move signals a deeper push by the advisory firm to integrate AI and data-driven strategies across its service lines as client demand for tech-enabled solutions grows.

Ankura Consulting Group has appointed Karthik Chandrasekar as its new Global Head of Digital. In the role, Chandrasekar is tasked with leading the integration of digital strategies across the firm's services, with a specific focus on enhancing its artificial intelligence and data-driven capabilities.

Chandrasekar brings more than 25 years of experience in the consulting industry, having advised Fortune 100 companies and private equity clients on digital transformation, growth strategy, and operational improvements. Prior to joining Ankura, he held senior leadership positions at other global consulting firms where he led large-scale transformation programs.

The appointment comes as consulting firms face increasing pressure to provide clients with sophisticated, technology-enabled solutions to complex business challenges. "As organizations confront accelerating digital disruption driven by data, AI, and evolving customer expectations, his experience and vision will significantly enhance our ability to turn complexity into clarity," said Kevin Lavin, CEO of Ankura, in a statement.

Chandrasekar noted the current business environment is defined by constant change. He stated that Ankura's digital practice aims to help clients use these disruptions to improve operations and drive growth. Part of his vision includes helping clients build organizations that effectively blend human and AI workforces to unlock new value.
