BCG-owned firm's second North American location in two years points to a broader trend of companies leveraging supply chain and AI for competitive advantage.
Procurement and supply chain consultancy Inverto has opened a new office in Atlanta, signaling a response to what it describes as growing demand for specialized procurement services in North America. The new location is the firm's second in the region, following the launch of its Chicago office in 2024.
The expansion comes as companies contend with persistent inflation, geopolitical instability and supply chain volatility. According to Inverto, these pressures are causing businesses to look to their procurement functions not just for cost management, but as a source of resilience, innovation and strategic growth. The firm also notes that the adoption of AI is moving from pilot programs to broader enterprise deployment, with procurement and supply chain operations at the center of this technological shift.
"North American businesses are operating in an increasingly complex and fast-moving environment," said Daniel Weise, Global CEO at Inverto. "Procurement now sits at the intersection of AI, resilience and value creation. Businesses that invest in advanced procurement capabilities are far better positioned to absorb disruption, scale innovation and drive profitable growth."
The choice of Atlanta is strategic, according to the firm's leadership. Dan Belz, leader of Inverto North America, cited the city's status as a growing business and technology hub with a deep talent pool. "Establishing a presence in Atlanta enables Inverto to serve clients across manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, transportation, logistics and technology sectors – all industries experiencing significant reinvention," Belz stated.
The opening of a second office just two years after entering the market reflects the increasing strategic importance of supply chain optimization for businesses in the region.
"Atlanta will play a key strategic role in our expansion in the region as we are scaling our operations, to help more organizations unlock their full potential in a global market that is going through a period of unprecedented change," said Paul Zahn, Inverto North America COO.
Inverto, which operates as part of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), now has a presence in two key U.S. business hubs, positioning it to provide end-to-end transformation services to a wider range of clients.
