Sushank Agarwal joins as Managing Director to build out the firm's procurement capabilities for private equity clients, signaling a continued focus on operational value creation.
Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed Sushank Agarwal as a Managing Director in its London-based Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice. Agarwal will lead the firm's private equity procurement practice for the region.
The move signals A&M's ongoing investment in its operational advisory services for PE-backed companies across Europe. The firm is concentrating on building out its capabilities in procurement, supply chain management and cost transformation, areas of increasing focus for private equity firms seeking to drive value within their portfolio companies.
Agarwal joins A&M from BCG Inverto, where he served as the Global Private Equity Business Lead. In that role, he advised private equity firms and their portfolio companies on procurement transformation programs. With over 25 years of experience, Agarwal has also held senior leadership positions at consulting firms including Kearney, Accenture Strategy and Efficio.
In his new role, Agarwal will be responsible for scaling A&M's procurement services across Europe, working with PE sponsors and portfolio company management teams.
