Herb Engert, Senior Advisor, Riveron.
Move is part of the advisory firm's broader strategy to expand its presence and capabilities in the New York market, leveraging the longtime executive's deep ties to the region.
Advisory firm Riveron announced it has appointed Herb Engert as a Senior Advisor. Engert, who is based in New York, most recently served as the Managing Partner for EY’s New York Office.
In his previous role at EY, Engert was responsible for client service and brand strategy across offices with combined revenues of nearly $2 billion. His career with the firm also included global and regional leadership roles with a focus on private equity and strategic growth markets.
At Riveron, Engert will operate in a senior advisory capacity to support the firm’s continued expansion in New York. His role will center on relationship development, market engagement, and enhancing client connectivity within the corporate finance and private equity ecosystem.
“Herb is widely respected for his judgment, leadership, and ability to build lasting relationships,” said Sam Shaw, CEO of Riveron. “His experience and deep ties to the New York market align extremely well with where we are headed as a firm, particularly as we continue to invest in expanding our presence and capabilities in the region.”
Engert's appointment is the latest step in Riveron's New York growth strategy. The firm's recent efforts in the market include the opening of a new office at 10 Grand Central, the relocation of senior leadership into the area, and targeted hiring over the past year.
“I’m excited to join Riveron at a time of strong momentum,” said Engert. “The firm has built a compelling platform, and I look forward to helping expand its reach and impact in the New York market.”
