Mike St. Martin, Managing Director, BRG.

The 25-year financial advisory veteran joins the firm’s Commercial Disputes & Litigation practice from Ankura.

Consulting firm BRG has appointed Mike St. Martin as a managing director in its Commercial Disputes & Litigation practice group. Based in Chicago, St. Martin brings more than two decades of experience as a financial advisor and testifying expert.

In his new role, St. Martin will focus on performing business and intangible asset valuations, solvency and financial analyses, and economic damages calculations for clients involved in complex transactions and litigation. His work has previously covered analyses for financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and tax planning purposes.

"Mike brings experience in complex transactions and litigation/economic damages worlds, further strengthening the Commercial Disputes & Litigation practice in Chicago,” said Jeffery A. Stec, a managing director and co-leader of the practice at BRG.

Prior to joining BRG, St. Martin was a senior managing director at Ankura. He also previously served as a director in Navigant's Transaction Advisory Services group. He holds several professional designations, including Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in business valuation, and Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA).

St. Martin earned an MBA in finance from the DePaul Driehaus College of Business and a BA in economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
