
CIL Management Consultants has rebranded as CIL Strategy Consultants and unveiled a new brand identity, a move the firm says better reflects its evolution toward data-driven growth strategy work and its expanding global footprint.
According to the firm, the rebrand aligns with a practical shift in services toward value creation, market opportunities, pricing and commercial decision-making—capabilities increasingly underpinned by data, analytics, AI and a specialist pricing practice. “Our work today looks very different to where we started, and our name and brand needed to reflect that,” said Jon Whiteman, Managing Partner. “Clients come to us for clarity on growth, value and direction. This change recognizes the depth of strategy work we now do and our ambition as a global firm.”
The brand refresh follows a sustained period of expansion: over the last five years, CIL reports average global revenue growth of 22% annually, with growth strategy work up 49% per year. International revenues grew 51% annually over the same period, while headcount increased by an average of 25% per year. The firm has also broadened its physical presence with offices in London, Paris, Munich, Chicago and New York.
Underscoring its North American momentum—and the firm’s strategic shift—CIL recently opened a second U.S. office in Manhattan, led by Partner Luke Rowell. The New York team will initially focus on media clients, leveraging strong transatlantic ties and building on a five-year North America revenue CAGR of roughly 50%. “Launching in New York is a major milestone for CIL,” Whiteman said. “It strengthens our U.S. footprint, supports our global clients, and reflects the strong performance and momentum of our North American operations.”
