Bernardo Silva joins the firm’s Chicago office as a Senior Managing Director, signaling a strategic expansion of Teneo's consumer-focused management consulting capabilities.

Teneo has appointed Bernardo Silva as a Senior Managing Director to lead the Food & Beverage industry practice within its Management Consulting business. Based in Chicago, Silva will advise clients on growth strategies, operational performance and portfolio transformation.

Silva brings over 25 years of experience as an advisor and operating executive. He joins Teneo from AlixPartners, where he was a Partner and Managing Director. His previous consulting experience includes senior roles at Monitor Deloitte, Roland Berger and Kearney. He began his career in brand marketing and sales operations at The Coca-Cola Co..

His areas of expertise include business strategy, new market entry, commercial effectiveness, margin enhancement and M&A.

The appointment is part of a broader effort by Teneo to build out its advisory services for the consumer sector. "Bernardo’s appointment is an important step in the continued expansion of our consumer and economics capabilities within Teneo’s Management Consulting business," said Gee Lefevre, Global Head of Consumer and Economics at Teneo. Lefevre added that Silva will be joined by other new hires in the consumer space in the coming months.

Silva noted the current challenges facing the food and beverage industry, including shifts in consumer behavior, supply chain volatility, and the need to integrate digital and AI technologies into business transformation agendas.
