Former Amtrak and Alvarez & Marsal executive brings over two decades of experience in transportation and infrastructure capital programs to the firm.
PA Consulting has named Lenka Hennessy a partner in its US Transport team. Hennessy will focus on expanding the firm’s capital programs and applying automation to improve operational efficiency for clients.
Hennessy joins PA with more than 20 years of experience in the transportation and infrastructure sectors. She has held senior positions at Amtrak, Alvarez & Marsal, and PwC, where she worked with public and private sector clients on revenue generation, asset management, and passenger experience initiatives.
Her appointment comes as the transportation industry addresses shifts driven by new technology, sustainability requirements, and significant government infrastructure investment. In her new role, Hennessy will advise clients navigating these changes.
"Her track record of delivering complex capital investment and infrastructure programs across both public and private sector environments will bring valuable perspective to our clients," said James Dowle, Global Head of Rail at PA.
Hennessy noted that she is joining at a "pivotal time for transit and infrastructure." She added, "As the industry continues to evolve, there is tremendous opportunity to deliver meaningful change."
PA Consulting's transport practice works with operators and infrastructure owners on strategy and technology transformation projects. The firm’s recent work includes supporting a major North American rail corridor modernization and developing a long-term fare and ticketing strategy for a metropolitan transit agency.
