Patrick Donegan, Managing Director, SEI.
Employee-owned consulting firm SEI has appointed Patrick Donegan, a 16-year veteran of the company, as the new Managing Director of its Philadelphia office. Donegan will assume the new responsibilities while continuing to oversee the firm’s national Brand and Marketing strategy.
Donegan previously served as SEI's Chief Strategy Officer, a role in which he led initiatives related to technology platform modernization, business development capabilities, and internal support systems. Prior to his CSO role, he established the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, serving as its founding Managing Director.
“Patrick has been instrumental in shaping who we are as a firm,” said Bill Gallagher, CEO of SEI. “He’s brought clarity to our strategy, connection to our culture, and focus to how we execute. I can’t wait to see Patrick’s leadership continue to make an impact in Philadelphia.”
The Philadelphia office, which opened in 2020, was developed with key contributions from John Tarczewski. With this leadership transition, Tarczewski, who has been with SEI for over 15 years, will now serve as a Principal Consultant focusing on client-facing work.
“John has been a foundational leader for SEI Philadelphia and a trusted partner to so many of our clients,” Donegan said in a statement. “His work opened the doors, built the team, and positioned the office for the long-term success we’re building on today.”
In his new role, Donegan is tasked with expanding client relationships and local partnerships in the Greater Philadelphia area. The office serves clients across several sectors, including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, financial services, and technology. Donegan brings experience in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and mergers & acquisitions to the position.
