Management and technology consultancy will serve as the recommended system integrator for Enerex's suite of software products, targeting digital transformation in the retail energy industry.
Management and technology consultancy Capco has entered a strategic partnership with Enerex, a provider of energy management software. Under the agreement, Capco will act as the recommended system integrator for Enerex’s software clients.
The collaboration aims to combine Capco's implementation services and knowledge of North American power markets with Enerex's software suite for retail energy brokers and suppliers. The stated goal is to help energy companies streamline their procurement processes and modernize their technology infrastructure.
Enerex provides several software solutions for the energy sector. Its products include Sparkplug, a retail energy sales platform that processes over 10% of U.S. commercial and industrial transactions; Exchange, a data connectivity platform for brokers and suppliers; and Propeller, a sales management tool for retail energy suppliers.
"The retail energy industry is undergoing a rapid transformation in the technology and platforms required to stay competitive," said Jonathan Clites, Partner and Lead for the Retail and Wholesale Energy Practice at Capco. "Through this partnership, Enerex is uniquely positioned to deliver on these objectives by leveraging Capco’s market-leading expertise. Together, they will support retail energy companies in migrating to the Enerex platform and seamlessly integrating their existing applications.”
This partnership allows Enerex to offer its clients a dedicated integration partner to manage the transition to its platforms, while Capco expands its service offerings within the energy technology domain.
Nate Richards, CEO at Enerex, commented, “Our collaboration with Capco enables us to provide customized, efficient solutions while enhancing the technology investments already made by our clients. Capco is a leader in merging upstream and downstream technologies, and this partnership will enable clients to better navigate the future of energy procurement.”
