Ankura Consulting Group has acquired Omniscient Platforms and its subsidiary, Omniscient Health, in a move to bolster its advisory services in data, AI and digital transformation. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to a company announcement, the acquisition is part of Ankura's broader growth strategy to integrate technology solutions with its subject matter expertise. The firm aims to enhance its capabilities in technology strategy and data analytics.

"We continue to integrate advanced technology with deep subject matter and industry expertise," said Kevin Lavin, CEO at Ankura. He added that the addition of Omniscient strengthens the firm's digital transformation capabilities, particularly in data and AI advisory.

Omniscient Platforms brings proprietary technology, advisory services, and specialized health care solutions to Ankura. The company also has an established presence across Latin America, including in Argentina, which provides Ankura with an expanded geographic footprint in the region.

This acquisition is indicative of a wider trend in the consulting sector, where firms are increasingly purchasing technology and data-focused companies to meet growing client demand for AI-enabled business solutions. The move allows Ankura to immediately incorporate established platforms and specialized talent into its service offerings.

"We are thrilled to join Ankura and bring our digital platforms and Latin American footprint to a Firm that shares our vision," said Meade Monger, who co-founded Omniscient. "Together, we will offer clients broader expertise and greater reach."
