OC&C Strategy Consultants has appointed Aaron Souza as a Partner in its global Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) practice. Based in New York, Souza moves to the firm from Bain & Company.
Souza was a Partner in the TMT practice at Bain for the last five years. His career includes more than 15 years advising clients in the communications, media, and entertainment sectors, with a focus on the music, sports, and advertising industries. He also previously worked within Bain’s Private Equity practice, advising investors on software and technology assets.
The hiring signals a continued effort by OC&C to expand its footprint in North America and strengthen its TMT capabilities. The move follows a period of similar growth for the firm’s TMT practice across Europe. For consulting firms, bringing in experienced partners from established competitors is a direct way to acquire deep industry knowledge and client relationships.
