The 2025 Women Leaders in Consulting: Nicole Costaldo

Nicole Costaldo is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Data & Analytics practice. She provides advisory services by helping private and public organizations use advanced analytic techniques to unlock value from their data in the context of complex investigations, litigation and compliance matters. Ms. Costaldo has applied advanced analytic techniques to support trustees, receiverships, regulatory officials, and executives in unraveling some of the largest financial crimes in history. Additionally, she has supported monitorships and organizations in conducting risk-based assessments of their systems and data relied upon by compliance programs. Recently, she has designed frameworks on how to use data and analytics in a fraud monitoring program and to sustainably identify records in response to regulatory subpoenas. Ms. Costaldo manages global teams requiring the analysis of billions of records and the use of complex analytic tools like Natural Language Processing, networking analytics and transfer mapping. Ms. Costaldo holds a B.A. from Miami University of Ohio in Management Information Systems and studied Applied Data Science at Columbia Engineering in 2019. Over her time at FTI Consulting, Ms. Costaldo has been a leader on multiple award-winning teams at FTI and personally was nominated in 2018 for Consulting Magazine’s Annual Rising Stars Awards.
