Mary A. Gates, CFSSP, CHPA-III, is a respected corporate security leader, recognized across the industry for building teams that are based on a foundation of relationships, innovation and teamwork. She has helped build enterprise security risk management teams for Fortune 20, 50 and 100 companies and stood up programs to strengthen public-private partnerships. Mary is currently the president and Chief Executive Officer of GMR Security Consulting Group. Her passion is to help her clients understand and respond to employee, operational and facility safety, security and risk challenges. Prior to founding the company, Mary was the Executive Director, Global Security and Investigations, JPMorgan Chase & Co. where she oversaw firmwide Retail and Corporate Enterprise Security Risk Mitigation, Response and Training Programs, Proprietary and Outsourced Security Programs, Physical Security, and a bevy of other security processes and program designed to protect the employees, customers and assets of the Bank. Her experience includes leading multi-purpose teams, key initiatives secure millions of dollars in funding to uplift personnel, implement changes in legacy technology and physical security upgrades. Mary has led & conducted complex physical security projects, business continuity initiatives and multi-national investigations, to name just a few. She is a member of ASIS and IAPSC.
