As the EY-Parthenon Americas Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Industry Leader and the EY Americas Technology Growth Leader, Malinda Gentry is dedicated to helping clients unlock growth and accelerate value realization in their transactions and transformations. She emphasizes data-driven decision-making to support organic growth, value creation, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Malinda collaborates with TMT clients to tackle complex challenges by integrating commercial strategy, financial analysis, operational expertise, data science, emerging technologies and artificial intelligence.
Her comprehensive approach supports enterprise transformations, transaction diligence, integration, value creation, exit readiness and separation. Prior to her current roles, Malinda held several leadership positions at a multinational consulting firm, where she drove commercial strategy, analytics, and transformational engagements with TMT clients. She played a pivotal role helping organizations develop customer-centric business models that enhance revenue and profitability through analytics, digital solutions, M&A, and innovative commercial models.
Malinda has extensive experience working directly with CXOs, focusing on business model innovation, new go-to-market strategies, sales and marketing effectiveness, and pricing optimization. Malinda holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Cornell University, equipping her with a strong foundation to navigate the dynamic landscape of TMT.
