Betsy Soehren Jones, Partner, West Monroe
Betsy Soehren-Jones is a cybersecurity and artificial intelligence leader and partner in West Monroe’s Energy & Utilities practice. With over two decades of experience securing critical infrastructure, she works with clients to align business objectives with robust cybersecurity practices, guiding stakeholders from line workers to boards. She is also the founder and volunteer executive director of the Critical Infrastructure Security Consortium, a 100-member nonprofit that advances collaboration across utilities and related organizations to shore up cyber and supply chain resilience. Previously, Betsy was chief operating officer at Fortress Information Security, where she managed daily operations for the Critical Infrastructure Sector’s Center of Excellence for Supply Chain Security and worked with clients to design and implement enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs.
She spent nearly 20 years with Exelon and its ComEd subsidiary, including leadership roles responsible for cybersecurity strategy and governance. Betsy holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in public policy administration from Northwestern University. Beyond her professional roles, she serves on the board of WellSpan Health and is an advisor to various startup organizations. She has also authored over 50 STEM-related curricula for Girl Scouts and led STEM-focused troops for a decade.
