Amy Smigielski, Early Care and Education Manager, Resultant

Amy Smigielski leads the early childhood practice at Resultant, where she was brought on to build the strategy and team from the ground up. Within six months of starting in 2021, she hired two subject matter experts who now report directly to her and currently oversees a six-person, cross-functional team dedicated to early childhood initiatives. Previously, she served as Director of Family Services at Early Learning Indiana. She later led the organization’s child care resource and referral system as well as its education division, managing innovative projects funded by the Lilly Endowment. Her work included developing alternative educational pathways for early childhood educators and launching centralized tools for families to access real-time child care provider information.

Earlier in her career, she worked with medically fragile children and high-risk mothers through Early Head Start, earning certification as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). She also completed a dual-degree graduate program at Erikson Institute, combining early childhood development with counseling, which continues to inform her holistic, family-centered approach to building early childhood systems and workforce pipelines.
