Roger Carlile, President and CEO, RGP.

Kate Duchene, a 27-year veteran of the firm, will transition to an Executive Advisor role as the company focuses on strategic transformation.

Resources Connection, Inc. (RGP) has appointed board member Roger Carlile as its new President and CEO, effective immediately. The leadership change comes as the consulting firm aims to accelerate its strategic transformation.

Kate Duchene, who served as President and CEO, has moved into an Executive Advisor position and will remain with the company through January 3, 2026, to assist with the transition.

In a statement, Chairperson A. Robert Pisano noted that Carlile has been actively involved in shaping the company's growth strategy since joining the board in June 2024, with a particular focus on CFO Advisory and Digital Transformation consulting solutions. "We are confident Roger is the right person to succeed Kate as CEO to deliver the value of RGP’s strategic business model," Pisano stated.

Carlile brings extensive experience from the professional services industry. In 2014, he founded the business advisory firm Ankura Consulting Group, where he served as CEO for five years. Before that, he held multiple leadership roles at FTI Consulting, including Chief Financial Officer and global leader of its forensic and litigation consulting segment. His career also includes positions at KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Deloitte & Touche.

The board thanked Duchene for her 27 years of service to RGP. "Leading RGP has been a privilege," Duchene said in the announcement. "I am proud of what we have accomplished, how we have driven transformation to diversify our solutions and become a technology-enabled company."
