Heather Ryan, formerly the Global Product Leader for Mercer’s Career Product business, will now oversee product strategy and development for WTW's Reward Data Intelligence division.
WTW has appointed Heather Ryan as the new Head of Global Product for its Reward Data Intelligence (RDI) business. Ryan joins the firm from competitor Mercer, where she served as the Global Product Leader for its Career Product business.
In her new role based in Boston, Ryan will be responsible for product strategy, new product development, and innovation within the RDI division. She will also join the RDI leadership team and report to Sam Rakyan, Global Head of RDI at WTW.
"Her experience, which spans technology, product strategy, and business growth, will be most effective for advancing our product suite,” said Rakyan in the announcement.
Ryan's move from Mercer to WTW points to the ongoing competition among major advisory firms for talent and market share in the rewards and compensation data sector. Firms are increasingly focused on enhancing their data and technology product offerings to better serve clients navigating complex talent markets.
Ryan holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, along with degrees in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and Engineering from the University of Colorado.
