Daniel Powers, Chief Financial Officer, StoneTurn.
Global professional services firm StoneTurn has named Daniel Powers its new Chief Financial Officer. Powers moves into the role from his previous position as the firm’s Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
In his new capacity, Powers will lead StoneTurn’s finance, accounting and reporting functions. He will also collaborate with the firm’s partnership to help shape strategy and drive business objectives.
The appointment appears to be part of a broader firm strategy focused on internal talent development. "Not only does this recognize Dan’s meaningful contributions and leadership, but it also reflects StoneTurn’s commitment to developing and advancing talent from within,” said Brad Wilson, Managing Partner at StoneTurn. Promoting a key financial leader from an internal role can provide a firm with continuity and stability in its financial planning and operations.
Powers brings over 20 years of experience to the CFO role, with a background spanning consulting, corporate finance, and strategic planning. Prior to his time at StoneTurn, he held senior finance roles at Lincoln Financial Group and Liberty Mutual Insurance. He began his career in consulting and holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
