The recently launched London and Cayman-based firm is expanding its international footprint by targeting the American government and defense contractor market with a veteran hire.
Daymer Group, a consulting and fiduciary services firm, has announced its expansion into the United States with the hiring of Ronald Garrity, a specialist in the defense sector. Garrity will lead the firm's U.S. operations, which will focus on government and defense contracting.
Launched in August 2025 and based in London and the Cayman Islands, Daymer Group provides consulting and fractional C-suite services to investment management and growth-stage companies. The firm reports that it serves over 20 clients managing a combined total of more than $10 billion in assets.
The appointment aims to leverage Garrity's two decades of experience in the U.S. federal procurement landscape. According to the firm, he has led on over $2.1 billion in federal contracts and has experience with compliance issues including ITAR/EAR, CMMC, and NDAA. His previous work involved managing programs in the Middle East, Europe, and Africa for the U.S. Department of Defense and other government agencies.
The expansion is part of Daymer Group's strategy to establish a presence in high-growth industries. "Due to macro global political and security conditions, the defense sector is booming right now," said Daymer Group Founder Richard Scott-Hopkins. "We believe that the inclusion of a veteran defense sector specialist like Ronald within Daymer Group will lead to significant growth for current and future clients.
In a statement, Garrity noted that he was impressed with the firm's structure and that its ethos aligns with his own view of the consultancy market. "I am confident we can combine our talents and exploit the opportunities afforded by the defense sector, especially in the US which leads the world in this industry," he said.
