Jack Azagury, Chairman, BRG.
The 29-year professional services veteran will also serve as a senior advisor to TowerBrook Capital, BRG's majority equity investor, signaling a focus on strategic growth.
Global consulting firm BRG has appointed former Accenture executive Jack Azagury as its new Chair of the Board. The move places a seasoned leader with nearly three decades of experience at one of the world's largest professional services firms at the helm of BRG's board.
In a dual appointment, Azagury will also join TowerBrook Capital, BRG's majority equity investor, as a senior advisor. In this capacity, he will advise TowerBrook's portfolio companies within the business services sector and assist the investment team in identifying and evaluating new opportunities. This dual role suggests a strategic alignment between BRG's operational direction and its primary investor's broader market strategy.
Azagury's appointment follows a 29-year career at Accenture, where he most recently held the position of group chief executive for consulting. In that role, he led the firm's global consulting team across 42 industries and enterprise functions and was a member of both the company's Executive and Global Management committees. His career includes significant international experience in the UK, France, and Japan, as well as senior leadership roles such as market unit lead for the U.S. Northeast.
Bringing in an executive with Azagury's background from a firm the size of Accenture indicates a clear ambition by BRG to accelerate its growth trajectory. His specific experience in digital and AI-based transformation, operational improvement, and the energy sector aligns with key high-demand areas in the current consulting market.
"His leadership experience within the professional services sector will bring further insight and momentum to our ambitious growth plans," said Tri MacDonald, BRG's chief executive officer and president. MacDonald added that Azagury's international experience and thought leadership "align perfectly with the core qualities that BRG is built on."
Azagury commented on his new roles, stating, "I'm excited to embark on my next chapter as a senior advisor to TowerBrook and to be working with BRG. Both firms' commitment to building enduring, resilient and responsible businesses deeply aligns with my own values and experience."
