CMAG: What characteristics and elements would you attribute to your firm’s inclusion as a Best Firm to Work For?

Our people are the core of who we are at DayBlink Consulting. We have a small but mighty team of incredible consultants who are committed to the growth and development of the firm and of each other.

CMAG: Are there any specific programs or initiatives that contributed to you being included as a Best Firm?

Our firm's commitment to "do right by" our staff, our clients and our community is something we take very seriously. We promote our consultants based 100% on merit and readiness (not based on any predetermined timeline). We give all staff 4 VTO (Volunteering Time Off) days each year allowing our consultants to get involved with organizations that they are passionate about. Our annual day of service, Harbor Day, brings our entire team together to support one of our local nonprofit partners and is followed by dinner and celebrations. It is because our team genuinely enjoys being together.

CMAG: In describing your firm, what would you say sets it apart from other consulting firms?

Our size. It really allows us to be nimble in the marketplace and flexible in responding to our clients’ needs. We are consistently told by our clients that we are "just different" than other larger consulting shops...and we take that as a compliment!

CMAG: Where your workforce is concerned, what would you say your priorities look like for the upcoming year and beyond?

We are excited about our prospects for the coming year. In 2025 our priorities include team and client growth and continued deepening of expertise in our core areas of focus: Cybersecurity, Applied Automation and Cloud!

CMAG: What opportunities do you see as the most promising?

Despite macroeconomic uncertainty we continue to be optimistic about the coming year. Our current client base is strong and our pipeline is growing so we are looking forward to growth within existing accounts and new logos this year.

CMAG: What market forces do you see as the most challenging?

Like most companies, the ongoing cycle of uncertainty has caused havoc to our clients’ budgetary processes, but we continue to be told that our work is essential for their businesses. As markets settle we expect revenue and budgetary forecasting to normalize again.

CMAG: What impact do you think Best Firm to Work For honors will have on your employees? The firm overall? Clients?

Being selected as a Best Firm to Work For is always an honor. It is an outward recognition of what we strive for everyday – to do right by our team and thereby make DayBlink Consulting a fantastic place to work. We greatly emphasize maintaining a culture that nurtures growth, keeps top talent engaged and committed to our firm, and recruits new high performers to join our team. Happy and engaged employees translate directly into our client work and is a reason that they continue to seek our support.
