Scott Rottmann joins as President of CFO Advisory, and Brett Wells as VP of ERP and Business Technology Solutions, signaling a strategic push into finance-led digital transformation.

Global professional services firm RGP has announced two senior appointments aimed at strengthening its CFO advisory and technology consulting capabilities. Scott Rottmann has joined the firm in the newly created role of President, CFO Advisory, and Brett Wells has been appointed VP of ERP and Business Technology Solutions.

These hires suggest a focused effort by RGP to expand its services catering to the evolving needs of finance executives, who are increasingly tasked with leading digital and data-driven initiatives.

Rottmann will lead RGP’s Office of the CFO consulting practice, overseeing the firm’s Finance & Accounting, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Tax & Treasury services. He will report to Chief Operating Officer Bhadresh Patel. The creation of this dedicated presidential role indicates the firm’s intent to formalize and grow its long-standing work with finance organizations. Before joining RGP, Rottmann was a principal and partner at EY-Parthenon and previously held senior positions at Genpact and Deloitte.

“As finance leaders confront a future defined by data, digital innovation, and accelerated transformation, Scott’s expertise will enable us to guide clients beyond incremental improvement toward true enterprise reinvention,” said Patel in a statement.

Complementing the strategic focus on the CFO’s office, Brett Wells will lead strategy and delivery for RGP’s ERP and business technology solutions, covering platforms such as Oracle, SAP, and Workday. In this role, Wells is responsible for helping clients modernize core systems and align technology platforms with enterprise architecture to support growth.

According to Patel on the company’s Q4 2025 earnings call, Wells “brings deep experience from companies such as Accenture, Infosys, and IBM with a strong track record of building and scaling global ERP practices.” Wells previously served as an ERP Cloud Transformation Leader at Accenture and held leadership roles at Tata Consulting Services, Capgemini, and Oracle.

Together, the appointments of Rottmann and Wells position RGP to offer more integrated support for finance-led transformations, combining high-level financial strategy and governance with the underlying technology implementation and systems modernization required to execute it.
