Tech entrepreneur and M&A veteran will lead the firm's push to integrate AI-driven transformation services for clients in the United States.
Publicis Sapient has named tech entrepreneur Nathalie Gaveau to the newly created role of Chief Client Officer for the United States. Gaveau also takes on the title of EVP at parent company Publicis Groupe, signaling a strategic focus on embedding AI capabilities across the firm’s client offerings.
Based in New York, Gaveau will report jointly to Publicis Groupe CEO Arthur Sadoun and Publicis Sapient CEO Nigel Vaz. Her primary responsibility is to accelerate growth by leveraging Publicis Sapient’s AI products and talent to advance the digital business transformation of the group's clients.
The creation of this role and Gaveau's appointment point to a deliberate effort by the company to formalize its AI strategy at the senior client-facing level. According to the firm, Gaveau is tasked with helping clients become "AI-enabled enterprises."

Gaveau brings a background that combines finance, entrepreneurship and corporate governance. She began her career in M&A at Lazard before co-founding the e-commerce marketplace PriceMinister, which was acquired by Rakuten for a reported $250 million. She later founded Shopcade, a data-driven social marketplace sold to Lagardère. She currently serves on the boards of Coca-Cola EuroPacific Partners, Sonepar and Lightspeed Commerce.
Nigel Vaz, CEO of Publicis Sapient, commented on how Gaveau's experience aligns with the firm's objectives. "Her deep experience in AI, digital innovation, entrepreneurship and growth, will be invaluable as we work to drive growth in the United States for Publicis Sapient and Publicis Groupe through AI-enabled products, services and teams," Vaz stated.
