Professional services automation (PSA) software provider Kantata has appointed Jesse Weber as its new Vice President of Partner Alliances. In his new role, Weber is tasked with leading the company’s strategic alliances program, with a specific focus on expanding its network of private equity and consulting firm partners.
This move signals Kantata's intention to deepen its presence within the professional services ecosystem. By hiring an executive with a track record in building alliances with PE and consulting partners, the company is positioning its software to be a key component in the technology stacks used and recommended by these firms.
Weber joins Kantata from Sage, where he was the Global Head of Private Equity Alliances. In that position, he worked with private equity firms, venture investors, and consulting partners on digital transformation initiatives. Prior to Sage, he held several leadership roles at SAP, including Director of Private Equity Alliances for SAP-Ariba and Senior Business Development Manager for Global Private Equity at SAP Concur.
"Kantata’s partners are a cornerstone of our future," said Weber. "I’m excited to strengthen Kantata’s partner network of private equity firms and other organizations that deliver measurable value and growth.”
According to Patrick O’Donnell, Chief Revenue Officer at Kantata, Weber's appointment is a key step for the company. The strategy aims to leverage partnerships to drive adoption and ensure Kantata's PSA tools are central to how professional services organizations operate and manage projects in a changing economic landscape.
