Ron Otocki, Partner, Baringa.

New partner hire, based in Chicago, is tasked with expanding the firm's footprint in telecom, IT services, and software sectors beyond its traditional East Coast base.

Baringa has appointed Ron Otocki as a partner in the firm’s U.S. Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) practice, a move aimed at accelerating its growth across the United States. Otocki, who joins from PwC, will be based in Chicago and focus on expanding the consultancy’s client base in telecom, IT services and software.

The appointment signals Baringa's strategic intent to build its presence beyond its established East Coast operations. By placing a new partner in Chicago, the firm is positioning itself to capture a larger share of the TMT consulting market in the Midwest and other regions.

Otocki brings more than two decades of consulting experience to the role, having spent nearly 20 years at PwC, where he was most recently a Principal in the Customer Transformation practice. His work has centered on advising technology-driven companies on front-office operations, operating model transformation, and aligning business strategy with technology execution.

“Ron brings experience and insight in helping clients navigate the rapidly evolving technology landscape,” said Eddie Monteiro, Partner and US Strategy and Growth Lead for Baringa. “His ability to connect strategy with practical execution and deep industry expertise make him an outstanding addition to our growing TMT practice in the U.S.”

In his new role, Otocki will be responsible for broadening Baringa’s TMT client portfolio, with a particular emphasis on B2B sectors.

"I’m excited to join a firm that prioritizes teamwork and client impact," said Otocki. "I’ve always believed that the real impact happens when you move beyond ideas to deliver practical results. The opportunity to build on Baringa’s success and help our clients adapt to today’s technology shifts is incredibly energizing."
