SolomonEdwards has announced the promotion of Carissa Robb to managing partner of its Banking & Financial Services (BFS) practice. In her expanded role, Robb will lead the vertical’s strategy and go-to-market efforts, focusing on advisory and execution solutions for financial institutions.
Since becoming a partner in 2024, Robb has advised C-suite leaders at clients ranging from multinational banks to credit unions and fintechs. Her appointment to managing partner is part of the firm's effort to strengthen its services in finance, risk, and operations within the highly regulated BFS industry.
Under Robb’s leadership, the practice has focused on assembling a team of former regulators and industry veterans. The November 2024 integration of The Dominion Advisory Group expanded the practice’s expertise in financial crimes compliance and added new offerings in M&A readiness and technology enablement.
"Carissa brings a rare combination of strategic foresight, regulatory remediation and startup innovation,” said John Gulnac, CEO of SolomonEdwards. He noted that her leadership is helping to reposition the practice from a traditional compliance partner to a "strategic enabler that empowers BFS leaders to be risk-ready, tech-savvy, and execution-focused."
“We’re continually raising the bar on delivering strategic and tactical support, and I’m excited to scale that impact even further,” Robb said in a statement.
Before her tenure at SolomonEdwards, Robb held senior executive roles at TD Bank and was the president and chief product officer of a financial services SaaS startup.
