Professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has hired Felicia Lyon as a Managing Director in its Healthcare Industry Group. Lyon, who previously served as a Principal at KPMG, will specialize in human capital and workforce management for the firm's health care clients.
The appointment comes as health care organizations face a combination of financial pressures, persistent labor shortages, and the rapid adoption of new technologies like artificial intelligence. A&M framed the hire as a direct response to these trends, which were outlined in the firm’s "Healthcare Workforce Predictions for 2025" report.
"The health care workforce landscape is rapidly evolving - bringing both challenges and opportunities," said Bianca A. Briola, Managing Director and leader of A&M's Human Capital and Workforce Management practice. "The types of roles and skills required of the health care workforce will change significantly over the next decade. Felicia brings deep insight into navigating these shifts."
Lyon has over 25 years of experience in human capital advisory. Prior to her role at KPMG, she was the founding CEO of a boutique consulting and executive coaching firm. A&M noted her past work includes designing an offshore innovation hub for a large health care provider and identifying $50 million in workforce expense savings for a large health system by redesigning its job architecture.
Lyon holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in industrial organizational psychology from Roosevelt University, Chicago.
