Davis works in RSM’s managed IT, cloud and infrastructure practice, focused on IT infrastructure mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Davis has more than three years of experience on the infrastructure M&A team advising clients through IT separations and carve-outs. He primarily works with private-equity firms and their portfolio companies, specializing in implementing scalable platforms to align with their investment strategy. He has specialized experience supporting clients in the industrial and technology industries. During his time with the infrastructure M&A team, Davis has gained broad experience in multiple roles, including:
IT lead support – Assisted in the management of sprint activities for multiple large IT carve-outs. Workstream scoping included cloud services, M365, networking, voice and collaboration, on-premises server and endpoint workstreams. In this role, Davis coordinated site cutover preparation and readiness, hypercare support and transition to local IT/Managed Service Provider. He has additional experience as the lead for domestic and international hardware procurement, internet service provider coordination and documentation.
Project management – Developed and maintained multiregion and multiphase project plans, collaborating with workstream leads to update tasks, due dates and completion status on a weekly basis. Davis produced summary reports for program leadership to provide narrative on current program status.
