Global management and technology consultancy Capco has appointed Dan Martin and Sal Kutub as new Partners. They will drive the growth of the company's Energy practice in the U.S. as the industry focuses on new opportunities around digitization, decentralization, decarbonization and AI-driven electricity demand.

Dan Martin, US Energy Partner, Capco

Dan Martin is a 30-year consulting veteran specializing in leading successful, large-scale digital transformations, enterprise systems integration projects, and 24/7 operations of solutions across the Oil and Gas, and the Power and Utilities industries. Based in Houston, he joins Capco after retiring from the partnership of Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was Technology Leader of their Energy Transacting and Risk Management practice.

Prior to that role, Dan was Managing Partner and General Manager of the Consulting Business of SunGard Availability Services as well as SunGard Global Services, focusing on the Energy industry, large-scale software development and implementation, enterprise resiliency, cybersecurity and managed services. He also served in various roles at Ernst & Young LLP. He has a BBA in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University.

Sal Kutub, US Energy Partner, Capco

Sal Kutub brings almost 20 years of experience in the Power and Utilities industries, with a proven track record of leading complex business transformation and large-scale programs, from conceptualizing the strategy to executing it, worldwide. He is based in New York, and joins from Black & Veatch, a global leader in building critical human infrastructure in energy, water, digital connectivity and government services. As Managing Director, he was responsible for providing solutions and creating new offerings to enable sustainable infrastructure and solving challenges in decarbonization and digitization to transform the energy landscape.

Prior to Black & Veatch, Sal held various roles at Accenture, focusing on energy transition, storm resiliency, workforce and operational transformation. He started his career in the utility industry working for National Grid and PSEG. He has a BE in Engineering Science from Stony Brook University.
