Kristen Adams is part of Cognizant Consulting's Greenlight Growth team and has been with the company for three years. Kristen has 30+ years experience in the media industry. She is an Emmy award-winning journalist, idea hunter, and strategic thinker who asks questions, listens to the answers, intuits what's not being said, sees around corners, shifts perspective, understands context, thinks about what's happening, why it's happening and what it means for the future. At ABC News Kristen produced, directed, interviewed, and wrote for Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts. She produced for NBC News and helped launch CNBC. She received the 2001 News and Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Interview as well as the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University journalism award for contributions to ABC's coverage of 9/11. Her 2015 documentary series for Sesame Street on children with autism was nominated for an Emmy and led to the creation of Julia, a Muppet with autism. Kristen is a Mombie (a Mom-zombie who raises funds for metastatic breast cancer research) and a competitive swimmer who lives in Connecticut.
