AJ is a former Captain of the United States Army who, following his military career, founded and was CEO of a cybersecurity compliance software company. He was also a senior member of a national cybersecurity professional services firm's SOC-ISO-health care compliance practice.
A seasoned cloud security professional with significant senior-level information security experience, AJ advises organizations regarding operational security, cloud security initiatives and more. AJ has experience managing a wide range of cybersecurity compliance assessments, including SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA, for a variety of SaaS, IaaS and PaaS providers. An active member of the cybersecurity community, AJ served on the board of directors of the ISC2 Miami chapter as the Education Chair, he is a Founding Board member of the National Association of Black Compliance and Risk Management professionals, and is a SANS institute cloud security instructor and LinkedIn Learning compliance instructor.
