The 2024 Rising Stars of the Profession: Minette Manna

Minette Manna, Managing Director with StoneTurn in Johannesburg, specializes in forensic accounting and investigations focusing on fraud, misconduct and business disputes.

Minette has led and conducted various complex and high-profile cases and has been involved in litigation matters, providing support for expert testimony.

She leads engagements across various jurisdictions, which includes analytical-, non-financial- and financial reviews; analysis of large sets of information and documentation; and reconstruction of accounting records.

With a background in financial statement audits, Minette has served as part of the independent consultancy teams for PCAOB and Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement orders. In addition, she has been involved in search and seizure operations, as well as AML and FCPA compliance reviews. She works with clients in both the public and private sectors, in an array of different industries.

Minette holds membership with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), Institute of Commercial Forensic Practitioners (ICFP) and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
