The 2024 Rising Stars of the Profession: Caitlin Williamson-O'Donnell

Caitlin Williamson-O'Donnell is a Charlotte-based senior manager in Ernst & Young's AI and Data practice. A graduate of the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, she has been with EY since interning while in college with almost 10 years of experience serving banking and capital markets clients in data management with an emphasis on data governance, data quality and regulatory compliance.

Caitlin leads EY's thought leadership and has become a go-to person in the world of banking data governance. Caitlin's mastery of the subject is such that she is the U.S. topic leader, and coordinates and assists EY leadership across Europe, Asia, and Latin America facing similar projects. She has traveled throughout the U.S. as well as internationally to meet with Chief Data, Risk, and Technology Officers where her expertise enables her to assist those clients with compliance strategies, lessons learned, and international considerations for data governance programs.
