Jeffrey Kuehn, Director, HKA

HKA has announced that Jeffrey Kuehn, a forensic mechanical engineer, recently joined HKA's growing forensic engineering team as a Director.

Mr. Kuehn has over 10 years of experience as a forensic mechanical engineer investigating building mechanical systems, industrial accidents, mechanical system and equipment failures, and fire incidents. His work as a forensic engineer has included documentation of failure sites, research, development of written reports for courtroom use, and testifying in deposition and in court as a recognized expert in the field of mechanical engineering.

At HKA, Mr. Kuehn will strengthen the firm's ability to provide engineering dispute resolution services to clients in a wide variety of industries. He will work with the forensic engineering team to analyze and evaluate mechanical engineering issues, develop expert opinions on the factors that lead to a deficiency or failure and the parties responsible, and participate in the development of forensic engineering reports summarizing the facts, analyses, and tests performed to present expert findings and opinions.

In addition to his forensic engineering experience, Mr. Kuehn was a mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineer for over 20 years. Before joining HKA, he led and helped grow the MEP practice group at Rimkus Consulting Group, establishing long-term relationships with clients through proactive engagement and exceptional service delivery. Mr. Kuehn is a registered professional engineer in 17 states and a National Association of Fire Investigators Certified Fire and Explosion Expert (CFEI).
