Addition boosts forensic accounting and commercial damages practice.

HKA, the leading global consultancy in risk mitigation, dispute resolution, expert witness and litigation support services, announces that Maria Tsennykh has joined the firm's Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages (FACD) practice as a principal based in New York City.

Maria will focus on the continued growth of the firm's valuation, forensics, litigation and investigations practices. She brings a wealth of experience to HKA, having led multiple forensic investigations in various industries, including nonprofit, health care, retail and consumer, industrial manufacturing, and banking in the United States and abroad. Maria has a successful track record with commercial damages, intellectual property, fraud investigations, U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) monitorships, and local and global dispute services projects.

Maria is a Ph.D. economist and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom. She has almost 20 years of global experience in Eastern and Western Europe, Central Asia and the United States. Her work has been featured in various news publications, including The Sunday Times, Global Investigations Review (GIR), ACFE Insights, ACAMs Today and Accounting Today.
