Sheryl Falk, Principal, Crowe LLP

Seasoned attorney joins Crowe as legal strategy and digital forensics adviser to serve Crowe's expanding law firm client portfolio and clients across its advisory business.

Crowe LLP, a public accounting, consulting and technology firm, with offices around the world, has announced the addition of Sheryl Falk as an advisory principal in the forensic and legal consulting practice. Falk will serve as a leader in digital forensics and legal strategy consulting, bringing her extensive experience of seasoned litigation and digital forensics to Crowe's expanding law-firm client portfolio and its advisory business. She will focus on enhancing Crowe's digital forensics, data security, and emerging technology services.

Falk brings a wealth of specialized knowledge to her new role at Crowe. Before joining Crowe, Falk was a partner at Winston & Strawn LLP where she served as co-chair of the global privacy and data security practice. As a former assistant U.S. attorney and as one of the first attorneys to become certified in computer forensics, she has been at the forefront of digital investigations, trade secret investigations & litigation, and data security. Clients and industry professionals have recognized her expertise and regard her as an unparalleled resource. Falk holds a certification from GIAC Certifications, formerly Global Information Assurance Certification, as a Certified Forensic Examiner. She has also served on the board of the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE).

At Crowe, Falk will leverage her mix of seasoned litigation and digital forensics expertise to assist organizations in navigating the challenges of digital investigations in trade secret and other complex data investigations. Falk's rare combination of legal and forensics experience will support the expansion of legal strategy and digital forensics offerings for Crowe's law-firm and advisory clients, including neutral forensic expert consulting. With digital threats becoming more prevalent in today's business landscape, Falk's appointment comes at a crucial time for companies seeking to safeguard their sensitive information.

"I am delighted to join Crowe and continue to elevate the experienced team," said Falk. "This position allows me to combine my passion for cutting-edge digital technology with my strong investigations and litigation experience to provide management consulting services to the legal industry and other Crowe clients. I look forward to helping organizations address the complex issues surrounding data security, trade secret investigations and other complex data challenges."

"Sheryl will serve as a vanguard who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our legal strategy and digital forensics group to support our clients across Crowe," said Tim Bryan, forensic and legal consulting services practice leader. "Her passion to deliver exceptional client experiences, while leading those around her, aligns seamlessly with Crowe's core values and commitment to excellence. Her appointment further strengthens Crowe's commitment to providing future ready solutions to challenging data problems. Our clients will benefit from her deep legal experience and data expertise. This is a big win for us and our clients."
