What has motivated you to excel over the course of your career?
I have always been motivated by seeing the impact of my work. Whether it is helping companies find opportunities to transform their businesses around environmental, social and governance themes, or designing innovative structures to enable decarbonization at scale, I get a lot of satisfaction by enabling change and seeing that change come to fruition.
What has been the biggest factor in your success so far?
I credit much of my success to sheer tenacity and resourcefulness. Sometimes I joke that I am an expert in Plan F, while others will stop if Plan A or B doesn't work. I like to work on very hard problems, so tenacity and creativity are important. Knowing that I may have to create a solution rather than find one that already exists is exciting to me.
What do you enjoy most about your career in the consulting industry?
I love the variety of people and companies I get to work with on a day-to-day basis. Different personalities, stakeholders, and business strategies mean that no two projects are ever the same.
What is your proudest achievement to date?
I am proudest that I have constructed a career and family that doesn't follow traditional blueprints but allows me, my husband, and my daughter to live our values and forge our own paths.
What's the best advice you've ever been given?
Commit to the best-case scenario. Be all in.
What does this recognition mean to you?
It's wonderful to be recognized for my leadership. ESG is a rapidly-growing field and I am thrilled to be at the forefront, helping companies mitigate risk and seize opportunity.
